Many thanks to those who came out to help with our green waste event last Saturday. The day was a great success, complete with shovels, pitchforks, chain saws and tractors. We had fun too. It was as if people had come out of their deep winter hibernation to welcome Spring to our neighborhood. Best of all was that we filled the dumpster. That and some yummy cookies and sausage and sweet potato poppers.

In addition, the council has a free chipping service, funded by a grant from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s Fire Prevention Program. Click here for details and an application form.
